Wieder einmal beweist sich: Die Bühnenbilder ändern sich, die Schauspieler auch, aber das Stück
bleibt dasselbe. Da draußen spielen sie Krieg, mit immer feineren Waffen und immer lauterem
Säbelrasseln, während die Finanzjongleure ihre Zahlen tanzen lassen und die Reichen reicher werden.
Sie reden von Hoffnung und Fortschritt, doch die Schatten der Vergangenheit sind lang und
unübersehbar. Menschliche Gier und Angst sind wie ein altes Grammophon, das immer die gleichen
Lieder spielt. Der Ventilator knarzt, die Nachrichten rauschen vorbei, und am Ende des Tages bleibt
nur der kalte Kaffee und die Erkenntnis: Manche Probleme löst man nicht. Manche Probleme überleben
uns einfach.

Once again it proves: The stage sets change, the actors too, but the play remains the same. Out there, they are playing war, with ever finer weapons and ever louder saber-rattling, while the financial jugglers let their numbers dance and the rich get richer. They talk of hope and progress, but the shadows of the past are long and impossible to overlook. Human greed and fear are like an old gramophone that always plays the same songs. The fan creaks, the news rushes by, and at the end of the day, all that remains is the cold coffee and the realization: Some problems cannot be solved. Some problems simply outlive us.
